A 3-page comic made with ink (cover colored digitally) for my materials and techniques class at SCAD.
The character is going back home from their dead end job and finds out their roommate is being overtaken by a cosmic deity.
The blood ink I made by mixing red acrylic ink and black ink. It made a really thick texture that was weird but really interesting to work with and had really nice results.
Madoka Magica Comic Essay
This is a comic essay I made for Survey of Sequential Art, specifically one that analyzes the character Sayaka Miki. Puella Magi Madoka Magica is one of my favorite shows and one of my biggest inspirations, so being able to create a comic analyzing an aspect of the show and being able to get into some psychology as well through it.
I also loved doing the colors, I always love doing colors and textures, but mostly selecting colors and adding blending modes over my art and it was incredible to be able to do this with this comic as well.
Scarlet Butcher
A 5-page comic with no dialogue, made digitally for my environments and props class at SCAD. The assignment was to make 4 pages with interesting environments. I ended up doing 5.
The character used was Scarlet Butcher, from my ongoing project Unmagical girls. I had a lot of fun with the panel layouts and the camera angles for this one.
